Inside the airport
Internet, telephone and postal services inside Sharjah’s airport are as follows:
- There are public payphones spread throughout the terminal, which accept major credit cards and local currency. Local calls to Sharjah numbers are free of charge.
- The UAE has two local mobile phone networks, called Du and Etisalat. One of them will connect automatically if you’re using an overseas SIM card.
- No internet access points are currently available inside the airport, except in the First/Business Class airline lounge.
- The terminal does not yet have wireless internet connectivity.
- There is no post office inside the airport, but a post box can be found in the central domed area of the terminal before check-in.
