Arriving and departing
Easy – there’s only one terminal at Sharjah airport.
Transferring to Dubai International Airport
An increasing number of flyers are using Dubai and Sharjah airports as transfer points in the UAE – for instance arriving in Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight and then transferring to Dubai for an onward flight on another airline.
The only practical way to get between the two airports is by taxi. Depending on traffic and the time of the day, the trip will take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, and should cost approximately Dhs 50 ($13.50). All taxis departing from Sharjah airport are metered at identical rates – see Transport Options section for details.
