Transport options
To Doha International Airport
The easiest way to get to Doha airport is by taxi. Fares will vary depending on where you are leaving from, but all of the orange and white taxis in Doha are metered. Finding a cab at peak hours of the day can be difficult, so you can always pre-book to make sure. Try Karwa, on +974 4 458 8888.
Public transport in Doha consists of buses – there is no tram, metro or train network. The bus network is run by the government-owned Mowasalat (www.mowasalat.com) and includes a service from the city centre to the airport.
Fares are cheap, but the services are often crowded and irregular. There is no online route map available to check before you leave, so you may have to play it by ear when you arrive.
