Inside the airport
- You’ll find a quiet lounge in the upstairs area of Departures, towards Gate 16. It’s small and often full, but boasts extended chairs and dim lighting to help you catch some sleep before jetting off.
- Just around the corner from the quiet lounge is a smoking room. The rest of Doha airport is non-smoking.
- There is a range of ATMs in the terminal, accepting most international credit and debit cards.
- At the far end of the upstairs departures area is a children’s play area. It’s a perfect place for younger kids to let off some steam before settling down for a long flight.
- A good place to read or make phone calls in Doha airport is the area at the far end of the upstairs Departures area – you’ll recognise it by the white seats. It’s often quieter than other areas of the airport.
