As you’d expect from a country in the Arabian Gulf, Bahrain’s climate is hot and dry for much of the year.
Temperatures reach their peak in June-August, when the mercury regularly rises above 45 degrees. Winter temperatures can drop down as low as 10-15 degrees, but rain is still an unusual occurrence.
The most pleasant times to visit Bahrain are between November and April, when the heat is less oppressive than the summer but still generally warm enough to allow a walk around the souk or an afternoon at the beach.
If you do end up in Bahrain during the warmer parts of the year, then always be sure to wear a hat, drink plenty of water, avoid going out in the middle of the day and stock up on the suntan lotion.
